A bit about me

I am an international award-winning Textile Artist, Quilter and Teacher based in Melbourne, Australia.

Quilting.

I love sewing and quilting. Me and my Berninas (Q 20 and 710) have many more miles ahead of us! I am inspired by nature and once I have chosen my subject I dream of all the fantastic threads I can use to make them come alive on the fabric!

Thread-painting.

I love thread-painting, using different types of threads and exploring all the colours! I predominately use rayon threads with thin polyester and silk threads to add details. The texture you get from stitch is unique and adds so much dimension to my work.

Teaching.

I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others and what better way to spend a day than by helping others learn about my passion! It is very rewarding when students get inspired to try their own ideas and feel confident to explore the techniques further.
